Access to the lake was challenging with two-foot weeds. The chalet, however, was cozy and a good size, and our family loved the wildlife interactions. The pool and playground were also great for the kids. Maintenance needs some attention, yet the location next to Poconos Park is ideal.

It was just a great match for a fleeting pause in Bushkill with good value for money. The pool was fun when it finally opened after a couple of attempts to get in. Make sure to ask about pool hours before heading over.

Peaceful surroundings with beautiful wildlife interactions.
Our stay was marred by poor maintenance and cleanliness. The chalet we stayed in had broken items, such as the shower curtain and bed, which made our experience quite uncomfortable. Additionally, spider webs and dirt on the walls were disappointing to see after looking forward to a relaxing getaway.

We had a wonderful time interacting with the local deer and fishing in the lake, catching some decent-sized bass! The kids loved the huge pool and the playground was a hit, too. The place could really use some upkeep, like fixing the plumbing and updating a few things, but overall, it was a stay worth repeating. 🦌

Nature Lovers Paradise
The wildlife interaction was amazing-saw some deer up close while the kids were fascinated. Fishing in the lake was surprisingly good, caught some decent-sized bass and crappies, really felt like we were in the heart of nature.
It wasn’t inexpensive, but I’d say it was still worth it.

Spacious chalets and wildlife experiences
I recently spent two nights in a cozy chalet and thoroughly enjoyed every moment. The spacious layout made family time relaxing, and we loved watching the deer interacting nearby. While the overall stay was lovely, some areas could definitely use a bit of updating for a more modern feel.

The chalet was pretty spacious and had a nice cozy vibe. We loved the wildlife interaction, especially seeing the deer. However, it could definitely use some maintenance—like the broken toilet seat and the oven not working. The layout was decent, but a bit more updating would make a big difference. It was basically clean but could have felt more inviting with some small fixes.

The rustic charm of the chalet provides a cozy atmosphere, perfect for a peaceful retreat. Proximity to nature trails and unique wildlife experiences adds a great touch for outdoor enthusiasts.
The chalet's condition left much to be desired, with dirty sheets and stained carpets marring the experience. I faced heating issues throughout my stay. despite multiple requests to the office, the heat went unfixed, forcing me to sleep on the couch for warmth. The plumbing in the kitchen sink was backed up, contributing to a frustrating experience, along with an outdated appearance throughout with old furniture and rusty faucets.
